Steph has been in BC for twenty years, spending most of those years at the Blackfish Pub. He worked at several other places in the vicinity and spent a year in Costa Rica managing a bar down there.

Edie went to Gibsons in 2005 to visit for a summer and decided to work at the Blackfish for a few months. They met and she has been living there ever since but has always known Ontario is her home.

While visiting family near Hanover in the summer of 2009 she saw Frankie's and loved the gorgeous old building. Steph flew out to see it and felt the same way. He also got to know and like the community and area in his two short visits.

We are so excited to bring our love for, and expertise in, the restaurant industry to Frankies. We also look forward to exploring the area and the new community in which we have chosen to raise our family.
